Your journey starts in Naala Badu, the Art Gallery’s newest building, showcasing contemporary Australian and international art. Enjoy the exclusivity of early access as the front door of the Art Gallery is opened just for you.
Take a moment to appreciate the glorious Sydney harbour views over Woolloomooloo before entering Yiribana Gallery – the Art Gallery’s dedicated space for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art – to encounter the depth and dynamism of art practice across Indigenous Australia.
What better way to experience Australia’s renowned coffee culture than with beautiful views of Naala Badu and Sydney Harbour at MOD Dining, one of the Art Gallery’s signature restaurants. Have your coffee or tea with a sweet treat, savouring Australian flavours before moving on to Naala Nura, the Art Gallery’s original sandstone building.
As you tour across the two buildings, your expert gallery educator will share the stories, histories and cultural significance of the works on display, offering deeper insights into the art of Australia and its diverse voices.
